Yolande Wassenberg was born in The Netherlands and has been an ESL teacher with her husband, Michael, for the past 14 years. She is fluent in English, German, as well as her native Dutch. She has lived and worked many different jobs in various countries before teaching ESL, including Turkey, Aruba, Curacao, Mexico and the U.S.A., where she met and married her husband. She has also taught English in all the places her husband has taught and specializes in finding new ways to resolve problems. Being a former art student, art model and art teacher with two teaching degrees from The Netherlands causes her to look at the world outside of the box and find new solutions to existing problems. She tries to make her lessons fun, as well as interesting and educational. She hopes you will find her lessons useful, as well as her experience in cooking, costumes, arts and crafts, photography, travel and any other subjects you wish to discuss. Yolande joins Michael in expressing her gratitude at being selected to teach at LMI and hopes that you find her lessons helpful on the road to success!
