We invite you to join our mission in one of many different ways.
In Honduras, women from low-income families have few opportunities for education or for work. Additionally, a male-dominated society and domestic abuse are significant issues throughout Honduras. These challenges can make it difficult for women to reach their full potential and use their skills and abilities to positively influence society. In order to best carry out our mission of ethical leadership development, we also educate women on their rights and empower them by providing opportunities they would not otherwise have. Experts agree that the education and training of women in poor countries reduces poverty, stabilizes communities, and improves human rights. There are many ways you can help us accomplish this mission and make real change throughout Honduras!

Make an Impact on Campus
Teach: Our long-term teachers view their time with us as not only an opportunity to teach and serve in an international context, but also as an opportunity to learn from and minister to others. Teachers sign on for a minimum of one year, but have the option of extending their contracts. Our teachers often share about the personal transformation they experience as a result of their time at The Leadership Center, where their worldviews and their lives are deeply impacted by staff and students. Visit our Students: We partner with schools, churches, businesses, and religious organizations who regularly send teams to Honduras to serve, volunteer, learn from our students and staff, and partner with us in a variety of ways. We liked to think of these as mutually transformative learning opportunities. Team members serve in a variety of ways, including construction or building projects, farming and agriculture, or teaching seminars and tutoring. We practice hospitality and welcome volunteers on campus from any background, race, gender, religion, or faith. Click here to learn more.
