LMI Annual Report 2023-2024

By Hannah Bryant

Dear LMI Friends and Family,

2023-2024 marks Leadership Mission International’s (LMI’s) 11th year as an organization. In this pivotal stage, often likened to the “tween years” in human development, LMI continues to thrive amidst significant change and growth.

This year, LMI enters the second phase of its inaugural 3-year Strategic Growth Plan, having already achieved remarkable progress. Despite challenges, including a forest fire that damaged the coffee farm, LMI experienced notable growth in both its animal and vegetable programs on campus. Efficiencies introduced in our operations have also led to further cost savings. Moreover, the resilience of LMI’s students and staff—an enduring hallmark of our culture—has strengthened bonds within the organization, fostering a deep and lasting commitment to our mission.

In November, LMI celebrated its 10th anniversary with partners across Honduras, including a particularly strong collaboration with NPH, cultivated through the support of donors and other stakeholders. This partnership has blossomed into a dynamic exchange of resources, internships, and job opportunities for students.

Thanks to a new partnership with the Murdock Trust, LMI has added a key staff position, Development Manager, to bolster our development and fundraising capacity, positioning us for continued growth. In addition, the creation of a new off-campus Country Director role in Honduras—supported by our generous partners and donors—will help expand LMI’s presence across the country. This position will be instrumental in advancing our Graduate Advancement Programs and deepening our impact throughout Honduras.

As we reflect on these first eleven years, one crucial lesson stands out: none of this progress would be possible without the support of our incredible team and our network of partners. We have built a foundation of collaboration and mutual support that is essential to LMI’s ongoing growth and success.

As we look to the future, may we continue to work together to equip women and girls across Honduras to become ethical leaders who drive lasting change!
