Lizeth Sánchez hails from Tocoa, Colón, and has found her second home at LMI’s Leadership Center. With a profound fear of God and immense love for her three siblings, niece, and parents, Lizeth treasures her family deeply. Her passions include singing, speaking English, making new friends, and indulging in chocolate.
Before joining LMI, Lizeth worked various jobs to support herself and avoid relying on her parents. In 2016, a conversation overheard during a car ride to church sparked her interest in LMI. Inspired by what she heard, Lizeth applied and was accepted as a student the following year, marking the beginning of many blessings in her life. She graduated as part of Cohort 8 in 2019.
Post-graduation, Lizeth embarked on a teaching career, securing two jobs as an English teacher. With six years of teaching experience, she decided to embrace a long-desired change and has joined LMI as part of the staff. Overcoming her fear of trying new things, Lizeth has taken on the role of Human Resources Manager with enthusiasm.
In her current role, Lizeth leads and coordinates Expat Programs at TLC, ensuring alignment with LMI’s mission, vision, and values. She also oversees and manages all Expat and Honduran staff, interns, short-term teams, and visitors. Her collaborative spirit, eagerness to learn, passion for caring for others, and deep faith empower her to excel in her role.
Lizeth is proud to once again be part of such a prestigious organization, which she lovingly considers her second home.
